I’m a story finder specializing in video & photography with an M.S. degree in Journalism from Columbia University. I work in Houston as a multimedia communicator for the environmental justice organization Fenceline Watch. Before that, I spent two years as a Peace Corps volunteer in the Dominican Republic, where I taught students life skills, climbed the highest peak in the Caribbean, and became a part-time eco-tourism guide.
Previously, I worked as a video and podcast producer for Columbia University's School of Professional Studies in NYC and was part of the talented TV and video krew at Houston Public.
I bake, I garden, and I dance. And if I'm not relaxing in my hammock, I'm probably plotting my next adventure (WIP —I've been out of the country for too long — cut me some slack on catching up!).
